ONLINE PROGRAMMING IS THE MOST CONVENIENT FOR MY NEW LIFESTYLE AS A MUM. I LIKE TO KNOW THAT MY WORKOUT IS WAITING FOR ME WHENEVER I HAVE A CHANCE IN THE DAY...THERE IS NO TIME PRESSURE, AND I CAN LOOK AHEAD AND SEE WHAT LUCY AS PLANNED FOR ME THAT WEEK.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR PROGRAMME?
I LOVE THAT MY THREE SESSIONS A WEEK ARE ALWAYS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM EACHOTHER.

HOW HAS YOUR PROGRAMME MADE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOU?

MY WORKOUT IS 'ME TIME', USUALLY WHEN THE BABY IS IN BED...I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH STRENGTH I'VE GAINED...I'VE NEARLY LOST ALL OF THAT BABY WEIGHT AND I'M GETTING BACK TO WHERE I LIKE TO BE.

HOW HAVE YOU FOUND TIME TO EXERCISE AROUND THE DEMANDS OF MOTHERHOOD?

MY EVENINGS ARE WHEN I LIKE TO EXERCISE NOW. THAT WAY I HAVE AS LONG AS I NEED AND THERE'S NO THREAT THAT THE BABY IS GOING TO WAKE AND DISRUPT MY SESSION.

I STARTED WHEN I WAS ABOUT 20...I LOVED AEROBICS IN THE DAYS OF JANE FONDA & STUDIED TO BE AN AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR...I FOUND OUT I WAS GOOD AT WEIGHTLIFTING, THEN STARTED TO COMPETE...I EVENTUALLY BECAME BRITISH CHAMPION IN THE 67.5KG CLASS IN 1986

I GET REGULAR FEEDBACK ON VIDEOS I SEND IN, WORKING ON TECHNIQUE USING TWO WAY FEEDBACK

WHY DID YOU START ONLINE PROGRAMMING?
I SIGNED UP TO THE GREAT SOUTH RUN IN 2017 AND FELT I NEEDED HELP TO GET ME ACROSS THE LINE IN TERMS OF LEG STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE. THERE IS SO MUCH CONFLICTING INFORMATION OUT THERE FROM SELF PROCLAIMED 'EXPERTS' THAT I NEEDED AN ACTUAL EXPERT TO GUIDE ME.

WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR WHEN YOU STARTED?
THAT I WOULD FAIL IN BEING ABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUTS OR STAY COMMITTED...I SHOULDN'T HAVE WORRIED!

FAVOURITE EXERCISE?

PRIOR TO PROGRAMMING - ROWING.
NOW - I LOVE A WEIGHTED LUNGE.

HOW HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR TRAINING PROGRAMME?

STARTING ONLINE PROGRAMMING WAS THE BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE MADE.

I SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE GREAT SOUTH RUN AND PLAN TO CONTINUE WITH PROGRAMMING AS A WAY TO MAINTAIN MY RUNNING GOALS WHILST ALSO CHANGING MY BODY SHAPE AND LOSING WEIGHT.

I FEEL SO SUPPORTED AND MOTIVATED BY LUCY - SHE REALLY LISTENS TO WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH AND CREATES A PLAN THAT IS TRULY TAILORED TO MY ABILITIES AND MY GOALS.

WHY DID YOU START PERSONAL TRAINING?
MY DAD AND BROTHER GO TO THE GYM LOTS AND I WANTED ANOTHER WAY OF GETTING FITTER, AS I HAD BEEN REALLY ILL FOR A LONG TIME AND HAD LOST A LOT OF MUSCLE AND FITNESS.

IS PERSONAL TRAINING WHAT YOU EXPECTED?
I LOVE IT! I WASN'T SURE WHAT I'D MAKE OF IT AND THOUGHT I MIGHT GET BORED INSIDE A GYM, BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE BIKE, OR RUNNING!

I LOVE MY SESSIONS WITH LUCY. I WAS WORRIED I WOULDN'T ENJOY BEING IN A GYM WITH OTHER PEOPLE, BUT NOW IT'S THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEK!
